Our Screening Process:
Our caregivers go through a rigorous screening process before they are hired. It starts with the interview process. We select what we feel are the very best to even interview. If they pass through our selective interview process, we then perform stringent background checks on all of our caregivers. This includes national and local background checks as well as drug screening on all caregivers before they start to work for us.
We also ensure all certifications and registrations are up to date. This includes any state registries they may have (CNA, RN, LPN, etc.), CPR and TB test and also our company educational standards.
We equip our caregivers with systems to ensure success. We have implemented systems so that every interaction with our clients is rewarding. Our expectations are laid out well in advance of our caregivers going into the clients home. We show them what we expect in every encounter with clients. They are given a checklist and an individualized care plan to follow. This allows our caregivers the ability to focus on truly loving and caring for our clients.
We embrace technology and use it to our advantage. We provide our caregivers with innovative technology to allow them to maximize their time with our clients. Digital timekeeping, the use of the cloud, internet, GPS systems and the Family Portal ensure our management team and clients family members know what is happening at all times.
We believe that caregivers should be able to grow in their skills and knowledge. We provide ongoing education in areas such as; safety in the workplace, the aging process, confidentiality, state and federal laws and regulations as well as various other topics that are deemed timely and necessary by our professional and knowledgeable staff.
